If you are brand new to pole, please book onto an Intro class. Our Start here page has tons of helpful info for newbies.
If you have pole experience, please read the descriptions and prerequisites carefully to determine which classes are appropriate for you. If you still have questions, please contact us via Whatsapp or email. All classes are 60 minutes in length.
Class descriptions
Below are descriptions for each class. Please note that some classes require instructor approval for safety reasons. If you are unsure about which class you should be in, please contact us and we can help.
Intro to Pole
Absolute beginners start here! In this class, you will learn foundational moves for pole such as grip points, beginner spins, beginner tricks, and basic floorwork. This class introduces you to pole and helps you begin to build the strength you'll need to start your pole journey.
All levels and abilities are welcome. No prior experience or upper body strength is necessary!
Prerequisites: None.
Please note: A minimum of 4 Intro to Pole classes are required in order to move into our Beginner level tricks classes unless you have prior pole experience and instructor approval.
Pole Dance Fundamentals
This beginner-friendly class is where you'll learn to embrace your sensuality and confidence through pole dance! Each week we learn a new mini routine and break down some of the threads of movement that are commonly used in pole choreography, such as body waves, leg waves, hip rolls, pirouettes, and sensual floor work. This class moves at a pace suitable to all levels and NO dance experience is required.
This is a great class to start in if you are new to dance/sensual movement and would like to get more comfortable with it, or if you would like to work on your dance technique.
Prerequisites: None. New starters welcome.
Beg/Int Choreo
This class builds on the dance elements we cover in Pole Dance Fundamentals at a slightly higher level. You’ll work on linking moves together fluidly and continue building on your confidence and sensuality. Typically this class learns a choreographed routine over 2 weeks, though you can pop in at any time.

Pole heels encouraged though socks are OK too. Knee pads required (we have some we can loan if needed).

Prerequisites: Have attended 3 or more Pole Dance Fundamentals or Filthy Friday classes and/or be confident in your step around spin, pirouette, and fan kick.
Int Choreo
Continue building on your pole dance skills with more complex choreography and movement. This class will include moves that require a bit more strength such as weight bearing in a split or twisted grip, as well as some heel technique. This class typically learns a choreographed routine over 2 weeks, though you can pop in at any time.
Pole heels encouraged though socks are OK too. Knee pads required.
Prerequisites: Have attended 4 or more Pole Dance Fundamentals, Beg/Int Choreo, or Filthy Friday classes OR have prior pole dance experience in heels and be confident in pirouettes and following choreography.
Adv Choreo
In this advanced level choreo and heel technique class you’ll work on developing your fluidity, dance skills, and unique dance style. Typically this class learns a choreographed routine over 2 weeks and then has 1 week working on acro-style dance tricks, advanced flow sequences, and heel technique such as edgework. You can pop in at any time.
What to bring: Pole heels and knee pads required.
Prerequisites: Be confident dancing in pole heels, following choreography, and able to hold your weight/lift the legs in split grip and twisted grip.
Beg Tricks
In this class you’ll continue to learn and refine beginner spins, tricks, and floor moves, including fireman spin, step around spin, chair spin, back hook spin, attitude spin, body waves, pole sit, fan kick, pole mount/pole climb, jasmin, pirouette, and more. You’ll also use the pole to condition and build strength in your core, arms, and legs.

Prerequisites: 4 Intro to Pole classes and/or be able to confidently execute fireman spin, backhook spin, and 1-2 pole climbs.
Beg/Int Tricks
This class is perfect for high beginner and low intermediate students who want to get stronger and level up! You will build on and refine your beginner tricks and spins while also working on more intermediate level tricks that will help you increase strength and advance your tricks practice, such as basic invert, crucifix, leg hangs, hip hold, wrist sit, forearm stand, butterfly, jasmine variations, carousel spin, and more.

Prerequisite: Be able to confidently execute 2 forearm climbs, hold a jasmine, and working toward or have your invert.
Int Tricks
In this class you will advance your pole practice as you learn more challenging, strength-based moves. There will be a focus on strength building and linking moves together into combinations with a particular focus on foundational upside down moves such as inversions, leg hangs and switches, hip holds, butterfly, layback, brass monkey, juliette spin, and more.
Prerequisite: Instructor approval and be confident in Beginner level tricks and spins, as well as able to do a basic invert and crucifix.

Adv Tricks
In this class you will continue to focus on strength building and linking moves together into combinations up and down the pole. Moves may include aerial invert, shouldermount, ayeshas, pole-assisted handstands, extended butterfly, brass monkey variations, reverse grab, handsprings, various pole splits, allegra, and more.
Prerequisite: Instructor approval and be confident in Intermediate level tricks including inversions, leg hangs, leg switches, and butterfly.

High Adv Tricks
The focus of this class will be on executing clean upside down tricks and learning new, more advanced tricks, variations, and combos. This class tends to be dynamic and may include power spins, aerial shoulder mount, aerial invert, ayeshas, brass monkey variations, dragon’s tail, handspring, sneaky v, drops, flips, and more. The goal will be to link moves together into combos and increase your strength and repertoire.
Prerequisite: Instructor approval and be able to confidently perform aerial inverts, shouldermounts from the floor, and leg switches.

Beg Spin Pole
This class uses the poles in their spin setting, and students learn to hold themselves in tricks and positions on the pole while it spins. Students will learn the foundations of spin pole technique, focus on building strength particular to spin pole, and learn combinations linking together pole tricks while spinning.

Prerequisite: 4 Intro to Pole classes or prior pole experience.
Int/Adv Spin Pole
This class continues to build on grip strength, skills, and fluidity on spin pole. Students will be given intermediate and advanced spin pole technique, tricks, and combinations with an emphasis on putting moves together fluidly.
Prerequisite: Be confident in your forearm climb, sits, and chair spin on spin pole and be able to climb into jasmine.
Filthy Tricks
This class takes your favourite high beginner to intermediate pole tricks and turns them FILTHY. Expect sexy variations of familiar spins and tricks, exo style basework, and luscious transitions that tie everything together. You’ll work through short, spicy sequences built from foundational tricks, while exploring new shapes and adding layers of low flow and basework to bring out your filthiest side.
Heels optional but encouraged.
Prerequisites: Confidently execute 2 forearm climbs, hold a sit, and be comfortable in spins such as chair and backhook, working toward or already have outside leg hang and butterfly.
Filthy Friday
Our Filthy Friday class is all about unapologetically unleashing your sensual side! This class is inspired by and pays homage to pole's skrip club roots and will help you discover your unique, sexy flow. Feel free to dress up or wear anything that makes you feel confident and sexy in this class!
Prerequisites: Have taken at least 2 Pole Dance Fundamentals classes or have prior pole dance experience.
Flexibility
This class is important for advancing your pole practice as many moves require a certain level of flexibility in the legs and back. Each week will focus on different body parts/goals, working towards front splits, middle splits, back bends (bridge/wheel pose), and open shoulders. Classes will consist of a warm-up and active, dynamic, and static stretching. All levels and abilities are welcome. No experience necessary.
Open Pole Practice
Open pole is an opportunity for you to come practice and refine your existing pole skills. This class is not led by an instructor, though a staff member will be present to ensure safety. Please warm up adequately and only work on moves you can safely and confidently get into and out of.
